In this book, Humbert explores various types of shame, introduces a woman who was deceived by it, and shows the way to be set free of it. These include churches that do not accept people as they are, addictions, broken sexual boundaries, abortion, body image and divorce damage.
I was glad for her emphasis on the value God places on women, and His plan of grace and ways to build up a legacy of glory. It is possible to make new beginnings and to finish well.
Correlated questions for each chapter are at the back of the book, making this suitable for 12 week ladies Bible study group, or to use privately. May it liberate many women from their shame.
