Ups & Downs of Emails

I've discovered that the problem with sending the RoseBouquet out cleared up last week, when I realized that I must click the "Send out Mail" button first - before I click "Save." Then all went well.

However, my KMail program has other ups and downs. For a few days the outbox was not sending out emails. Then this morning, it had resolved itself. Well!!

But some other small details are strange and irregular. I look forward to being able to do a full backup of my files on this system and installing a new system, with hopefully a more stable instance of KMail.

If my weak spells and needs for naps didn't slow down business projects I could see this happening soon.

A great encouragement is this file box full of Prayer magazines that a church friend has loaned to me. I'm reading them almost at the rate of one a day. Something I can do even when I can't sit up straight.

Jelly Belly Beans Made Me Giggle

I am usually smiling to myself, and feeling quite cheerful all day). Here's something that made me giggle and have fun.

While checking emails (some time ago), there was one from an affiliate program saying they had a new company sign up, called Jelly Belly. I couldn't resist clicking on that to check it out.

As soon as I saw it I remembered once when I was a receptionist in London, a salesman had given me a Christmas gift of a box of flavoured jelly beans. A little sheet identified the flavours by the colours, and told which ones to eat together to get the taste of say, a peanut butter and banana sandwich, or - well, you get the idea. I had a lot of fun trying out those flavoured candy beans that day. At the end of the day felt like I had over-eaten on a huge turkey meal and a watermelon or two!
