You may have heard, even practice the art of list- making. It sure is nice to see what all needs to be done, and then as you check them as DONE, You realize you are in fact, making progress.
So on Friday I made myself a list of the projects that are left for me to do myself. Just in case you are curious - here is that list, with area concerned, and what to do there.
Melon patch:
- pull up weeds by roots.
- cut rows and seed: pumpkins, watermelon, climbing
cucumbers, maybe cantaloupe too.
Weed by fences:
- Kaiser Kronen (lilies) & green onions
- weed raspberry patch
- pull up random morning glories for Rita (neighbour)
Reseed some garden rows - they were sown too deep.
Big Pots of Flowers:
- wash & fix soil in pots
- sow flowers
- clean up patio area AGAIN!
Front yard:
- weed flowerbeds
- sow marigolds & calendula
- get small tree dug up! (maybe Gary?)
It rained yesterday, and the forecast says it will again tomorrow, then four sunny/cloudy days. I think I may get most of that done this week in my Outdoor time block from 6:30 pm to 8pm.
After that, I should start on down-sizing the basement!
Even in darkness light dawns for the upright,
for the gracious and compassionate and righteous man (woman).
Good will come to him who is generous and lends freely,
who conducts his affairs with justice.
...He/she will have no fear of bad news;
his/her heart is steadfast, trusting the LORD. (Psa.112:5&7niv)
