I'm trying to practice patience this summer. Some things were promised that have not happened yet.
Back in March (20 weeks back... this week) My niece, Jalise, wanted to come pick up the suite of desks that her Mom, my sister Elsie, had built years ago, Jalise said it would have to be a Saturday, after her husband finished teaching his computer courses, and she had just been asked to be in charge of an election poling district back in BC; she was going to be there for the month of May.
I've been convinced all this time that it was God's will for us, I would just have to be patient and WAIT. On Sunday it occurred to me that if if it was not, I had not given God opportunity to change the plans. So I've released the suite of desks to Him, and if HE causes Jalise to call and say it is all off, then I will stop waiting for them. - So far, nothing else has changed.
But today I'm wondering about my list of other BIG Things I've been asking the LORD for. Shall I continue to pray with great faith and endurance - or, should I loosen my grip?
[You may,...or may not want to follow my example here.]
This RoseBouquet ezine needs a sending home base. I've worked towards setting it up at systeme.io and I have seen a number of videos where people rave about how easy it is to set up there and not only run a newsletter or mailing list, but also set up a store, or a blog, or lots of ventures.
(One woman from the Netherlands, who sounds like me when she talks; says she loves that she can run ALL parts of her business right there. Easy-Peasy! Well, I must be missing something, or doing something wrong, but like Mom, I don't give up easily!) So yes, I would like a miracle there!
2. I'd like to discover an easy to install contact form, put it up on each of my sites, and have them work consistently without fail.
3. Ah, I would like to set up an email funnel (series of emails) that sell people on the SuperPatches, to buy/use them or to sign up to be an associate. There is heaps of money in this!)
4. I want to learn SEO marketing,,, this is free; once I learn how to choose the best keywords, and I take time to do all my webpages over again, I can expect 100s yea, 1000s of visitors. Of course, I'll have to set up all my offers on many of those pages too.
This will also help to sell Tom's diecast models much faster!
5. Then there is the challenge of creating ebooks that will sell like hotcakes!
I better stop. YOU need to see proof before You will believe these miracles can truly happen.
If you enjoy taking notes when you hear someone rattle off some useful pointers or ideas. Like, lists of fruits especially great for seniors.
Sometimes these idea lists are easy to remember, but some are easy to forget. Later you may recall a word or two about that tip, but not all the information.
So it is wise to be ready to jot down notes on a moment's notice.
What happens to the envelopes when you open your mail? Do you toss the envelop away into the nearest garbage can or do you put them in a special place because you want to burn them at a convenient time so that your friends' names and addresses cannot be finished out of the garbage bin while waiting for the truck to pick them up.
[You know, don't you, that certain scammers raid garbage bins for names and addresses of people they can scam. When they have used them they often sell that info to yet other scammers!]
Well, I let these envelops pile up on my desk but I use them for impulsive notes when I see or hear a good tip - like 4 fruits seniors should avoid, and 4 they should eat before going to bed.... and the reasons!
Later I may type up some that I do want to keep, but the envelopes end up in a container so when I have a chance to burn them in someone's barbecue pit, I get rid of them there.
