I Promise a Photo Story about Desks

It just occurred to me that I should make a photo story about the desk units to move out. (I took 12 shots before I began packing everything up.) But now I see it is already noon and I'm not ready to send this out yet without any photos. (I better put off that photo story.)

So maybe if I get some free time on Sunday night I'll do a photo story - umm.. of two or three pages of photos. As they were before I packed up my stuff into bins and boxes so the desks can now easily be walked out. But if I take some as they are moved out, and then a few more photos of my old custom-made desk when it is brought up from the basement, - to make a complete story.

That is not nearly as elegant and professional looking, but it was built to go along a long wall in my basement room at my parents' house. It was 8 feet long with 3 units of 2 filing drawers holding it up, Plus there was a matching sewing desk at the far end. (It is now in my bedroom.)

I was pleased with it as I drew up the plans and my pastor and his brother built it for me and installed it in my basement room. My cousin Gary had to cut the desk up to get it into the basement here when I moved here in 2007.

Sunday I asked a woman on the Deacons Committee if she could round up a few men to bring my desk up from the basement if Jalise & Chris don't think they can do it. (I know I can't!) Gloria assured me I should just give her a call when ready and she'd round up the men for me.

I think this room will look spacious when the desks are changed. Right now to walk from one room to the next one I have to go single file between the bins and boxes and the furniture. Good thing I live alone, eh?

I will have to be careful when I fill up the drawers so I don't stash stuff that should be disposed of. I may also have to label the drawers until I'm able to find my stuff in the right places again.

Online Godly Women Talk About Business with God

I've been checking out some of the people who spoke on the "Growing Business Online Without Social" Conference all via videos the week of Easter.

One woman that really catches my attention is Stefanie Gass She runs podcasts and teaches how to use Podcasts. Just last night I saw her on YouTube and her enthusiasm for involving God in every part of her online business inspires me. In fact, she has come to the place where she doesn't make a new move in her business without checking with God for His counsel or approval before she goes ahead.

I still want to check out the resources and ideas of others who presented at the conference, but my heart leaps when I hear Stefani speak. She talks my language.

You might be surprised that she makes 7 figures in income with her business - just since she has involved the LORD in all her business efforts.

Explore her Podcasts (even while doing something else):

Or check out her YouTube videos here;
