It's that time of year when the temperatures go up more - like in the above 0 range, there is more sunshine, new moods come upon us. Like a surge of energy, teasing or a daydreaming mood.
Some get an urge to clean, CLEAN and CLEAN some more! Or, would you rather daydream, lie in the sunshine, and do something fun or foolish?
Or does your appetite change to foods you have not seen or thought of for months?
Perhaps you're restless and want to be on the move. Going -where? Maybe you don't know. You just feel that life has all been at a standstill for the last few months, now you want to see action and be going places.
So... perhaps we should sit down and plan what all we want to do, and be practical enough to decide how much time it will take to do all those things we now want to do!
I'll admit to being overwhelmed with new ideas and plans that swarm into my mind. I KNOW if I don't learn to control myself, I'll be going in crazy directions and get nothing new accomplished.
Oh, by the way, These behavioral changes are triggered by increased Vitamin D from the sun, which affects our circadian rhythm and triggers a surge in energy. That's secular view- point.
I like to believe God is nudging us to look up with gratitude, and take a walk n' talk with Him.
do go ahead and tackle some big cleaning projects, and maybe an exploration trip - for a vacation.
Do you remember how busy your summer got last year? Well, then maybe you should tackle your house-and-yard cleanup for now in the spring while you have the energy and enthusiasm.
Keep in mind that the energy may not hold out until all the work is done. YOU may have to recruit others to help you, or else face the fact that you will need to keep on cleaning up even after your energy burst has fizzled out.
You can always pray for extra bursts of energy and ideas to keep you going until the work is done. Or pray earnestly for more will-power and self-discipline.
