I imagine you are getting Christmas mail these days too. This reminds me of the many hours I've spent on creating my Christmas mail in the past.
My daily routines are greatly curtailed of late, but I'm still hoping to design a good Christmas card with something of a letter in it, and get all of those send out by the end of this week. But not at full strength or wound up with enthusiasm as usual, does hold me back some.
I won't give up yet. I MAY get it done after all. So I'm setting business goals and plans aside to do this first.
Feeling overwhelmed by the things You need to do yet before Christmas arrives - or your guests show up first...! Don't throw up your hands in despair.
Cast yourself upon our LORD, and ask Him to guide you to the smaller things you can do to encourage others and help them to sense your love and true compassion. He will help us to get these things done.
Faith requires BOLDNESS. Gutsyness. Faith requires stretching beyond what you know that you can do on your own. And that's GOOD!
What BIG scary, God-sized dreams would you go after if fear wasn't in your way? What would you not hold back from doing? What prayers would you pray that used to scare you?
The God who parted the Red Sea, opens blind eyes, and raised His son from the dead is not scared by your big, faith-filled prayers…. But the enemy is.
I think it's time we send the enemy running and make our Heavenly father beam with our boldness.
Action item:
Create a simple prayer journal/record page in your
journal (or where you won't lose it). One small
column for the date, one wide column for the prayer.
Another for the answer and a final column for the
answer date.
It's SO powerful when we can look back and be reminded of the prayers that we've seen answered.
