About My "Brand"
You will recall I asked last week what you think might
is my Brand or Voice. I got several very touching and
encouraging responses from YOU, the subscribers to
the RoseBouquet.
But I still have a rather full daily and weekly agenda,
and I haven't had time yet to wrap this up.
(Maybe when I get the garden and the front yard all
cleaned up for winter, absorbs my 1 hour given to
the outside work.) When that is all finished I will be
giving that hour to deeper house-cleaning times.
In fact, this winter I hope to go through the basement
very thoroughly and try to get rid of some things.
My mornings, afternoons and after my "one-hour-yard-
work" in the evenings are all blocked out too.
But right now my afternoons focus on getting my
sales funnels created and set up - and my BRAND
is suppose to be part of that, so it will need to be
squeezed into the afternoons.
The woman I referred to last week recommends to
tell stories about yourself so that people feel they
are getting to know you.
Also, testimonial-type comments from others are
better then straight bragging on oneself. So now
to write up those pages ever-so-carefully!
I suggest you try this exercise too. It will help you
to get to know yourself better, and to see which
foot you should put forward first when meeting
someone new - in person, or by connecting with
them on a website - with something to offer.
P.S. Oh. A big thanks to those who agreed with
me last week about AI.
Yes, it is a problem. But God is working on it!
He has a terrific plan!
<*> TIPS & SOLUTIONS: <*>
Something Strange/Funny/Surprising. . .
happened last night. (It all depends on how you see it).
When I was struggling to login to DadaMail yesterday, a
hint was thrown at me to check with my files in Google.
I couldn't see a connection, but clicked the link - obedient
person I am - and found myself in loads of info Google
has on me. I was asked to correct anything that had
changed in my profile. (eg. they had a phone number
for me on my cell phone). I no longer have that number
so I deleted it.
I checked a few other areas to see if they had the real
facts on me.
As I was about to quit and go back to my evening work,
I came across a request I'd forgotten about to download
all my photos stored in Google. I gave permission as I'd
taken a photo recently of a friend, and couldn't figure out
how to get it to my desktop.
Next think I know I was in my Gmail address, and they
were about to download a file package of 680 GB. Huh?
How did that happen? I okayed it, even though it was
very close to midnight and I wanted to shut-down.
After a while I went to see if it was all downloaded yet.
It took some effort to determine that the jumbo file
was all on my desktop now. I decided to have a peek
before I shut down for the night. Yikes! Hundreds and
hundreds of photos, all organized into folders named
for the year the photos were taken.
I've yet to see them all, but I expect to delete most
of them. Still, I had no idea Google had filed so many
photos away that I was suppose to have taken.
Do you know all that Google knows about you? YOU
may want to check on that!
