At My Place: The Weekend was not as Expected

Surely this has happened to you as well. Excitement builds up for the next weekend. Suddenly the plans are changed and it doesn't happen that way. I'm sure you have experienced this too.

Not all is lost. My brother and sister-in-law changed the dates. Otherwise the plan is to continue. They'll drive from Winnipeg to Saskatoon today. They hope to help me with some major cleanup on Wednesday.

The Orkin man is going to be back here on Thursday to check his baited mouse traps and set new ones. So if they don't leave for Watrous before the man is done (I feel I need to be at home during that time) - then I may go along to Watrous and sit around in the warm mineral waters.

If that doesn't work out, I will stay home. But I see a number of projects I should be working on so it's not the end of my agendas if that happens.

This morning I checked the forecast and saw that a strong storm is brewing - not just in one province but at least across Manitoba, Saskatchewan & Alberta.

I called Ernie & Dori, and found them on the road already. They are still planning to come today! So... I'm doing extra praying for them today!

I may well have some exciting adventures to tell you about next week.
