Normally, I start working on the weekly RoseBouquet ezine right after breakfast, which can get to be around 10 or 10:30am and I try to be done by noon.
However, today has been quite different. Something came up, and I'm not to reveal any details, but this meant that I had go out two or three times to take care of some details per the instructions of someone else. (I've been promised a reward to come tomorrow.)
However, some these errands turned to be morer complicated than I first thought. I got rather exhausted, but I've always felt that a promise is a promise and I need to be found faithful to my word.
I've had a chance to practice that life principle - all over again, despite the fact that I thought I had proven my faithfulness a number of times in the past.
So much as I'd like take a belated nap, I am resolved now to keep this pledge to produce the RoseBouquet every Tuesday (except the last week of December.)
Now I have question for YOU: is it important to keep a promise - even though it is not convenient right now?
Have you ever disregarded a promise, hoping the other person(s) will not notice?
There is someone who always does see though. Will He give you bigger responsibilities if you don't attend to the small ones - the ones you promised so willingly?
You may have to go find that little key of faith.
