Re-Connecting - Questions!!

I'm full of questions for you this morning. Did you get my RoseBouquet emails over the last 2-3 weeks at all? I would sure appreciate your help in solving this riddle.

The last two weeks when I was mailing out this ezine I saw that the mailings, albeit very few, were taking super-long to mail. The DADA system was taking what appeared to be 4-6 minutes per email it was sending out. I sat and watched them.

Then I realized that the week before the mailings had gone out painfully slow too. But in the end I got a notice that the mailing had successfully gone out.

Then, last week I also discovered that all my websites and my clients' sites were down. Not There! My emails were all showing as "OFFline"! checked it out, over and over, going to the Support chat window at the place where the sites are all hosted. They thought all was fine. So I went to the Support Chat screen at the registrar for the domain names. Same story,

It drove me to see if I could login to the cPanel for each site. No-way! (This saga sings the same verse over and over!) By Thursday afternoon I was more desperate at both Support chat windows. (I'll avoid play-by-play reporting). But finally we were agreed at both sites about the right IP numerical address. At some places it seemed to point to an old IP address that doesn't exist anymore.

Once both services were showing the same IP address all was cleared up within 10 minutes! Hallelujah!

But now I've got to thinking.... what if the RoseBouquet didn't really get sent out the last two weeks? I usually get a short email note with a comment from one or two - sometimes 3 friends, but if none of you even received the RoseBouquet you had nothing to comment on. Right?

I can re-send those emails, as I have them on my computer. Or, I could send them from Dada Mail again. Or, if you prefer you could just go to the online version and read them there.

OOPS! I just paused to check there. No, all the issues from 2025 are missing! However, I can quickly upload them from my computer and they will be there by the time you read this.

Yes, that's another odd thing that happened. When the sites were up and the emails started to come in again, they were all from 2024, but none from 2025. So if you were emailing me last week, please try sending it again. I usually try to save emails once I have answered them to a plain text file so I can find them if I need to check out something. But the ones had not saved yet - will not be filed - so GONE!

Ouch!

When I'm finished with this issue and it is mailed I will need to write to my clients for whom I have built their websites. Two have complained from yahoo or gmail that they couldn't access their email at all. I will try to explain this techie crisis and assure them that it is over. But lost emails are about impossibly gone!

Fortunately, I keep a copy of every webpage or web site that I create on my computer, so I can replace the issues you missed - in fact all the 2025 issues! I'll just need some uploading minutes when done writing and sending this issue.
