What's New: My Pain Saga Update

I hesitate to dwell on this subject but I do realize most of you care about my health.

Last week I told you about the fractures in my back from 2007 to this year. I had one in November and another on Dec. 13th - so I thought I should be back to normal by the middle of February for sure. Yes my past experiences show that a simple fracture will heal up in 8 weeks.

Early last week my sister Elsie called to ask how I was doing. I cheerfully told her that I'd had three days of no pain. But the very next morning I had much greater pain in my lower back, and it has kept up that pace and intensity since then.

n fact, this morning I've wondered if it might be possible that the pain is not just in the vertebrae (which are fairly small bones), or has the pain jumped over to my hip bones! There is definitely more pain there. Less easy to gauge. So I may need to get some x-rays taken again.

Today, I'm trying to fight off self-pity and bemoaning the work I had meant to do which is not getting done. Even my plants have not been watered since a week before last Saturday. They are looking thirsty!

I do have an appointment with my dear chiropractor on Friday this week.

I have some comfort sitting in my recliner with a heating pad at my back. I'm struggling with concern over the untidy messes all over the house. I've wondered if I know anyone willing to come do some housework for me.
