At My Place: Christmas Coming Too Fast?

I've been a semi-invalid for about six of the expected 8 weeks. A week and a half should mean I'm done with moving about gingerly and mostly sitting in my recliner, doing prayer journalling and some work, but frustrated with how little I've done about gifts or even Christmas letters.

I've resigned myself now to the fact I will not get any shopping for gifts done. But I did hope to get a Christmas letter finished and offer a free download for a token gift.

Well, I got a good draft of the letter on Sunday, but then my printer balked. I may not get it resolved until well into January. (Sigh! I have other agendas for my new year!)

Is Christmas coming up too fast for YOU as well?

I've concluded that I may as well enjoy whatever happens over the days ahead, and set a new goal to send out my letters when they are ready. Most folks are glad to get letters any day of the year.

I'll plot for nice gifts to make all through the year so I'll be ready well before the 3rd week of December 2026.

I may even give them well ahead of the 25th so they will be really surprised!
