My Friends are my RoseBouquet

At My Place: Full of Gratitude!

Yes, I'm quite full of Gratitude today. After about 2 years of fuss and bother about finding a new platform from which to send out the weekly RoseBouquet - I'm finally back in the Good ol' DadaMail. But a newer version.

Justin, the programmer did a good job, although at first I had a hard time logging in. The first several times yesterday, I had to request a new link to be allowed to create a new password. But it never worked; I had to request another link. I was not used to this, so I emailed Justin to ask and he gave me a new login link. Ah-ha! that was the secret; I was still using the old one.

My previous installation of the program I think, was version #9, but now the newest one is #11, so there are some tweaks and improvements.

Once I got in and looked around some, I found that there are a few lines above each form or view that explains in easy English what to do there. Excellent!

I wanted to see if all my subscribers were still listed in the system. Sure enough! Super! He had saved those for me.

Ah, and then I saw there were 299 unconfirmed NEW subscribers. Whoa! But as I went down the list they all looked like some spammer had entered a long list of fake emails. There was only one that I recognized as that of a penpal/friend in China. So I kept that one, and deleted all the rest.

All my past issues are still in the system, or Justin may have saved that part from the old system, and just put them into the new system once he had installed it. How thoughtful!

Yes, I'm full of gratitude today!

P.S. Oh the funny/odd thing about the delays in getting this done were because PayPal has the slow rules for uploading funds to an empty account. I had to wait 3 days for the funds to show up in my account. Then I had to wait another 7 days (why? I don't know?) before I could pay Justin so he could do the work.

It finally was okayed last weekend. But, guess what, PayPal ignored the money I had uploaded and took the payment out of my credit card. Huh? Why? I don't know.

There are more mysteries on the internet than you or I can shake a finger at!!
