My plan is to write it on Monday. Then on Tuesday morning do the posting of the email edition, uploading the website edition to https://ruthes-secretroses.com/com/rb/index.shtml and also up-loading the .xml edition which can be found in a feed-reader if you use one. Basically, that provides an introductory paragraph for each of the three sections, and a link to go read it online at the link just above in this paragraph.
Then I will take off for Moose Jaw, drop in to visit my friend in the Assisted Living home, and join Ernie & Dori at their hotel when they arrive from BC or Alberta.
I'm wondering about how to check my emails - at least to see if I've made any sales of diecast models or ebooks (tho' the latter downloads are all handled automatically with a link sent in an automated email). So, I may just have to ignore emails until I get home on Thursday.
If I get a working system installed on my laptop, and can get connected to an internet hookup I might be able to check for my emails. (That is all rather iffy!)
Hmm... on Thursday when Ernie & Dori head back to Winnipeg, I might go pop in on my friend again, or should I just head right on home? In that case I might be home by noon/early afternoon on Thursday.
Got a favourite ointment or creme that comes in a plastic tube? Do you hate to throw it out when there are still some drops or gobs of goodness inside the tube?
I have a trick that I used again late last night. (Sorry,no time for photos right now).
But see if you can find two empty prescription pill/capsules bottles. One should be wide enough to get the cap end of the tube inside. Cut that end off and put it inside the plastic bottle. Now the flatter end may not have so much creme or ointment in it but you can probably swipe most of the creme out from the cut end, then cut off with the scissors the part near the first cut that has no more creme to fetch out of it.
If the flat end is too wide to fit into the other pill bottle, fold it and it should go in. If the lid doesn't fit on top yet, wipe out more of the creme with your finger and put it into the cap end in the other pill bottle. Trim the flat end shorter to fit inside the second bottle well enough to be able to put the lid on.
Now, you can keep one bottle in the bathroom and the other in your bedroom, or wherever you like to keep this handy. When both parts are quite empty you can throw them out knowing that you were able to use it to the last drop or smudge, before you opened a new tube.
