Yes, I usually take a break once a year in publishing this weekly ezine (also the online edition), just for Christmas and New Years, if they fall on or close to Tuesdays.
However, I have such a long list of big questions and plans to discuss with the LORD, which is what I usually do the week of Christmas, my "Prayer & Planning" Week.
To make sure I can pray about all those questions and plans, and also re-do my Password binder; (it's messy with changes scribbled into it), that I will be taking all of next week and to New Year's Day off for this.
I've mentioned to a few friends now, that last year I told the Lord I had about 11 ideas for projects I wanted to consider. He said graciously, "How about if we just pick 3?"
Considering all that has happened this year, and work for clients that crowded in on my agendas, those same 3 items had to go on the back burner a number of times. So I want to be careful to determine which things are truly Assignments from the Lord, and which projects are just things I'm interested in doing for curiosity's sake.
So exactly how many issues will you miss before the RoseBouquet returns to your email inbox? Well, the next two Tuesdays, so December 24th and 31st.
We'll be back in your inbox on January 7th.
If for any reason you want to connect with me, feel free to email me. I should be checking emails at least once a day, and I may even dedicate some hours to saving some emails, and deleting others to clean up the inboxes.
I will feel much more ready for 2025 when I know what projects the LORD considers of importance for me to work on as my first priorities.
I receives a glorious Poinsettia with large red flowers, and wanted to position it so I could enjoy but also give it the best light benefits. So I placed it on a shelf right in front of the window just to my right.
Then in a couple of days I noticed some green leaves had fallen off. I felt the soil and it seemed dry so I fetched some filtered water and gave the plant a drink.
But more leaves fell. Hmmm? I studied the situation a bit. Then realized that the air in the space of about 3 to 4 feet this side of the window was chilly.
Remembering this plant grows everywhere in tropical countries as a prolific outdoor plant, I decided it must be that chilly space inside that window area that was affecting it.
Solution: move it further into the room and away from that window with the strong hint of -18 Celsius outside.
