I did have to wait a couple of days last week to get the last of the leaves bagged, but I got it done, and was relieved!
The garden tools are in the shed and the shovels on the back deck, ready for use.
(Well, there are two large tin mouse traps that need to be cleaned out, washed and set up again. One outside, one in the basement. I'm just a bit squeamish, so I need to work up some will-power).
This week my domestic work project is to get as many aloe vera plants potted as I have room for, and then throw the rest out into the garden as compost. I also hope to tidy up the pantry shelves. Hopefully also get rid of things I don't really use.
I didn't need my heating pad all day yesterday, and only had a fifteen minute rest in the early evening. Hurrah!
Aside from planning to give up some afternoons for car-shopping I am getting back up to speed with my business agendas. Last week I had made some inventory lists of the diecast models by category, etc. Last night I started sorting them neatly into big plastic bins, and then printing out and taping the list of models in each bin to the outside.
Now I can zero in on the exact right model when it sells, find, package it and send it off without having to go through many bins and boxes to hunt for the model that has just sold.
It occurred to me some weeks ago that maybe the reason the Lord was keeping sales from happening is that I wasn't ready to Pick n' Pack - then ship in a smooth process.
I got three bins packed last night. That cheered me up! Now I'm up to the farm machinery models, which will be more complicated.
(I seem to have misplaced a box of Toy models. But where??) year, eh?
I found a recipe on YouTube for stronger bones & joints. It lists a number of seeds and ingredients that you blend to make a gelatinous jam. You keep it in a pint jar in the fridge and just take a teaspoon of it into your mouth every morning.
I have bought these ingredients (missing just one or two) and plan to try this out - soon! But I thought you might also be interested in what each of these seeds contributes to our bone health.
Flaxseed - for cartilage regeneration
Sesame - for healthy bones
Pumpkin seeds - to strengthen joints
Beef Gelatin - for bones and joints
Raisins - for recovery from osteoporosis
Honey - add to make it tasty
(I'll have to watch the video again to see the proportions. My sister Elsie who has been in charge of two hospital kitchens and also been a health inspector, suggested it would be wise to first soak all these seeds in water to help them swell open.)
Then you grind all the ingredients again, and pour into a jar.
P.S. Sorry. I thought I could find the link for you quickly, but it appears I'll have to watch a lot of videos on this theme to find this one again.
