What's New: Make Your Own Eyeglass Lens Cleaner

To make a simple and effective eyeglass lens cleaner, mix 3 parts rubbing alcohol (70% isopropyl alcohol) with 1 part distilled water, add 1-2 drops of lotion- free dish soap, and store in a spray bottle.

Here's a more detailed recipe and instructions:

Ingredients:
Rubbing Alcohol (70% Isopropyl Alcohol): 3 parts Distilled Water: 1 part
Lotion-Free Dish Soap: 1-2 drops
Spray Bottle: To store and dispense the solution

Instructions:

Combine Ingredients: In a small cup or bowl, mix the rubbing alcohol and distilled water.

Add Dish Soap: Add 1-2 drops of lotion-free dish soap to the mixture.

Stir Well: Stir the mixture gently until the dish soap is evenly distributed.

Transfer to Spray Bottle: Pour the solution into a clean spray bottle.

Clean Lenses: Spray a small amount of the solution onto the lenses (or directly onto a microfiber cloth) and gently wipe clean in a circular motion.

Dry Lenses: Use a clean microfiber cloth to dry the lenses.

Tips for Best Results:
Use a funnel when pouring the solution into the spray bottle to avoid spills.

Keep the spray bottle in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat.

Do not use paper towels or other abrasive materials to clean your lenses, as they can scratch the lenses.

If using a soap-based cleaner, rinse the lenses with water before drying them.

Always use a clean microfiber cloth to wipe your lenses

How to Get Article/Book Ideas

My favourite idea is to get into my recliner, put my feet up and undo the harness on my imagination. Soon I'm just bubbling and giggling at my ideas! If I need to get serious work accomplished I must stay away from that chair.

Idea 1: To Learn to be a Wise, Gracious Giver . . . you must first learn to be a a wise and gracious receiver of gifts. Prepare and memorize some nice gracious thank you speeches in advance. Practice them every time someone does a favour for you, or gives you a compliment. Make this new attitude and your gracious words a habit.

Adapt your nice speeches for times when you can do something good for others, or just give them a compliment.

Now you are nearly ready to be a Wise, Gracious Giver! Just practice some more!

Idea 2: Become an Expert & Author on some Topic . . . Decide what topic you would like to be an expert in; a. Read everything you can find on that topic, including the How-to manuals.

b. Try out the steps you read and see if they really work.

c. If the steps do not work as described, think deeply on the how and possible whys if they failed. Change/improve the steps you took. Ask others if they have more experience in this action. Listen and watch them carefully.

d. Try out other ways of accomplishing the same project. Consider the pros and cons of all the methods you tried or learned about. Make notes on what you have learned about that skill or activity.

e. When you are satisfied that you have found the BEST WAY to do that activity, expand your notes, (use them as an outline, if they suit) for your article or book.

f. Ask others to look over your draft book, or article, to see if they can spot any ways to improve that Skill or Task. Consider their suggestions and write your article or book, and see how well it is received, by people who have been looking for the best way to do that same project or task. If you are thanked and commended for your work, you may consider yourself an expert in that particular matter.
