No doubt you are tired of seeing my talk here of my plant sale. No more details today aside from mentioning that with the cooler temperatures my aloe vera plants are in danger of freezing in my unheated front porch.
So I had to lug all my plants into this office cum/living room last night, and I see that the temp will be very low tonight, and forecast to be below 0 Celsius for the next 2-3 nights.
I try not to worry about where I will put all these plants if I can't sell/give them away. (Hint: if you are within driving distance of my house, come see how generous I might be!)
I'll try to hang in for the rest of this week, but if no sales or give-aways are happening by the end I'll move them back to my windows as many as I can, and maybe sit at the edge of my lawn on Sat. and beg passers-by to accept a gift or two.
I really need to be spending some time in the next week or two cleaning up the garden!
I'm also beginning to visualize some deep-cleaning of the inside of my house. However, knowing the limits of my back and bones, I KNOW that will take many hours and I have to space them out.
P.S. a woman just came to the door to ask about my plants. She's broke, so I'm offering to give her whatever she wants. She's gone home to fetch a box. Hurrah!
P.P.S. She came back and we've spent more than an hour becoming FAST FRIENDS! I gave her some zucchini too, besides a crate of plants.
I think I'll be seeing quite a bit more of her!
I listen to this internet radio station all day long from rising in the morning to bedtime at night. Just now they are having a Shar-a-Thon to raise funds to continue broadcasting year- round without advertising.
The music is just my kind, conservative Christian music with some kids' programs and dramas included like "Christian Classics" and "Unschackled." Also Missionary Biographies done as dramas.
If you would like to check it out I recommend you open a browser tab at this URL: https://bbn1.bbnradio.org/english/listen-now/ Regular programming will return in a couple of days, but even the chatter, and the kids' riddles sections are quite entertaining.
