I hope I'm not being too brave yet, but I did get the sense last night that I was finding a program that may work out well for me to check, answer and send out emails for my 20 main emails from an email program called Evolution.
If you didn't close your eyes, and turn away last week, or the week before, as I went on and on about computer problems holding me up from my regular work agendas, you may know I've had a lot of issues with my emails not all coming in, then last week, emails were coming in but not sending out emails.
I tried out email programs I'd never heard of or seen before. Last night I tried Evolution, and it had a smooth interactive way for setting each email up, and the waiting emails began to tumble in. Sending worked too, but I'm still stuck at how I can save plain text versions of emails going out or coming in. Which I've always been able to do before.
This program saves them as .mbox files but they can only be read by certain software programs, like gmail and mac. So I need to research this some more. If they look like gobbledy- gook on my computer, I will probably need to copy and paste the text into Kate first and then save as plain text.
Sigh! More adjustments!
Do you see why I have to resort to prayer so often each day?
However, I'm hoping and praying that I can finally get back to my business hours for my three projects. Maybe even this week yet!
Did you know that almost every one of the 150 Psalms is a prayer or has a prayer in some of the verses?
You don't have to memorize all of them, but when you are stuck for how to pray about something, read a few Psalms. Suddenly you come to a verse or two - even a whole Psalm, that expresses just exactly what you are feeling and would like to say to God.
Feel free to quote that passage to God and personalize it as if your own original prayer.
Use it over and over until you are sure you were heard, and that God has accepted and forgiven you, or reassured you of His love and grace.
