My youngest sister, who phones me 3-4 times a day, confessed recently that she's been bragging on me teaching myself all about computers and starting an online business.
?Hmm...! I don't think she realizes that it has been a long process and I don't see myself as fully arrived yet. So now I'm mulling over another testimonial type of booklet or some pages on my business site to tell how I got involved with computers and online ventures. This idea is more like a germ of an idea. It hasn't taken hold, though I can see that this story might encourage those who dare dream, but not to do.
No need to worry about that. Those who keep their minds busy, especially with learning new things, are the least likely to be troubled with dementia or alzheimers. I've mentioned this theory to a few people lately, including a new friend at church, who is turns out is a doctor.
She confirmed that this is a known fact. Busy, learning minds (using your brain cells), do not get these health issues.
Wonderful! So getting sleepy and needing a nap when I've been using my mind and my physical stamina for shoveling snow, etc., is the only problem I really have, and it is always temporary and easily cured with a nap.
I just wanted to let you know this good news too!
