It came to me this morning that I have not recommended this RoseBouquet weekly ezine in quite some time; have my reasons changed?
Nope. I had to admit I've just been extra-Extra busy, and have not got around to it in some time.
I quickly reviewed why I have recommended it in the past and why I would still do so now. As I did, I got rather excited. It occurred to me that my current subscribers to the email edition may not be aware of all this. I should share my reasons with YOU, and invite YOU to help out by inviting a friend or two as well.
Our Reasons:
1. Me. I'm a chatty, story-telling kind of person
and I have many interests so you can't always guess
what I will write about next. In fact, I don't always
know it myself, until I've had my breakfast/brunch and
open the file of last week's issue and as I'm deleting
the previous week's titles and articles, I'm thinking,
"So what is new and exciting at my place today - or
this week?"
Sometimes I have to pause and wait a bit. But then the ideas start tumbling down. At times it is a new project, or something that has caught my fancy. Other times I am fixed on a problem and impatient to get it resolved - or I've just found an answer and I want to share it!
Or... I'm just excited to share photos of my flowers!
2. I have friends who ask what's going on in my life; I don't have time to write long, individual emails to explain what is absorbing my time; that would steal the very time I can't spare!
But if I refer them to the RoseBouquet, they can get a weekly glimpse at what I'm doing and I don't wear out my welcome with emails that go in 40 directions.
Of course, if they don't want to subscribe, they could just bookmark the online edition on my site, and go read it when they have time. (But I bet they often forget to go check. So they fade out of my life.)
3. If you love photos of the flowers and thriving plants in my garden/yard your chances to see them in the RoseBouquet are very good!
4. As my Beloved Gr'ma used to say, "Getting old as a cow, but still always learning." (Now I often quote that too.) So I love to share any new helpful tips I discover online, or as I find myself doing old-fashioned things - because they still work! It occurs to me that my friends might find that Tip or Solution useful too.
5. Some of my friends often dash off a quick reply to my RoseBouquet emails and that way, in a few short lines we keep in touch. Not a big deal, just ...like passing a friend on the opposite side of the street, we wave to say "Hi!" and acknowledge one another. It keeps our friendships alive!
If I stay at this I'll come up with more reasons but that may be enough for now. If you think your other friend would enjoy this RoseBouquet, forward a copy to them and suggest they subscribe too.
Then send them to this link to do so: Subscribe to RoseBouquet. (If you should forget; it is always just above the Tips & Solutions section.)
P.S. Maybe you should reply and tell me WHY you like the RoseBouquet. Remember my friends make up my huge bouquet of Roses!
