As I mentioned last week, my new keyboard was to arrive on Wednesday and it did - right about noon.
I had to allow myself some time just to explore and see what I could do with those soft rainbow colours.
Before the day was out I accidentally hit two keys without really noticing which ones, and Bingo! the lights were off.
It wasn't until Saturday when I started to serious research how to manage this feature that I discovered how to turn the lights On and Off.
But better than all that is how the keys bounce up so quickly that I can type as fast as I want and I don't have to worry about any key sticking from being used more than the others. The mechanical springs really do jump up super-fast!
In fact, I think my typing speed has picked up considerably.
Even when I notice I've hit the wrong key, my right pinkie can backspace so fast and I can make the correction with hardly a split-second delay.
I can highly recommend a mechanical keyboard!
Another feature is that these mechanical keyboards can last 10 years, where as the cheaper models don't last me a month!
Here's a glimpse of it on my keyboard shelf under my desk. (Mind you, I use a small towel underneath to keep it from slipping and sliding around on the shelf.)
