Last week I was about to go get the developer of the Dada Mail program to fix my installation which was not working right and the password had disappeared on me at the time I had installed a new hard drive and re-installed my system for the computer.
Just as I was at the page where I could make my request, I remembered that last year I had been checking out a site called systeme.io. They have a free version for those who are just starting out, or staying rather "small scale" with their business plan. My research had shown that they had a free email system, which allowed up to 2000 subscribers, plus some other marketing services all set up to work well together. I had been meaning to go back to check it out some more, but have been just super busy since Easter, so I had not gone back to make a real decision about it.
I decided that perhaps that would be a better and FREE solution, rather than paying to have my DadaMail fixed. I did signup for a free account there, but then had a big problem to get my domain name recognized there. (I'd seen last year that a couple of the testimonials said they had problems with that too, but once it was fixed, it was a great way to do your business online.)
So I went back to do the first 3 steps or so over and over and it just didn't work out for me. Finally, I decided that I'd rather work with DadaMail - for my RoseBouquet weekly ezine - and went to request and pay for it.
The very next morning I got an email from Justin, the developer, that it was upgraded and all fixed. I went to check and sure enough; it works as it did before - even better.
Having looked inside the other system, I now wonder if if I should use it after all. It is just that I have so many things going on and can't keep up. . . . I need to get some projects cleared up and finished first.
In fact, this next Monday is Thanksgiving Day here in Canada. I've decided to take that day off to spread my "to Do lists" before the Lord, and pray about what to drop, what to put as most urgent, and in what order they must be done. Also which blocks of time need to be reserved for this or that which is especially important.
I've already been doing this in a way but loosely, so that I quickly insert something when I see I could spare a few minutes. But I need to make a PLAN and then STICK with it! I'm hoping that will come out on Thanksgiving Monday.
