A Phone Visit Trumps - Everything!

I've just had a phone visit with my brother and sister-in-law in Winnipeg for over an hour. This doesn't happen all that often, but it is always a treat.

Sometimes it is a relative or long-time friend, and I am sure it happens to you too, right?

My first thought upon hanging up was that I would need to give you a big apology for being late with the RoseBouquet today. Then it occurred to me that I didn't regret that phone visit one little bit. I'm sure that when you get such a call, unless you are truly tied up with another commitment, you drop what you were doing and enjoy the surprise visit by phone.

So we can agree that a phone visit trumps - well everything! Or almost. Maybe not things like feeding a baby or rushing out the door for an appointment; there may be a few other good reasons for cutting them off and promising to call back later.
