My Christmas Mail Crowds Out the Rest

Yep. It is happening again. I had managed to draft and keep adding to my annual Christmas letter over a number of Sunday evenings, but now is time to print and address - and as I said last week, I usually try to add some personal notes too. With about 80 in my mailing list I saw on Sunday already that I better put off all my other December agenda items until after Christmas. I've only got these two weeks to get my mail out.

What with my chiropractor appointments and other errands, I feel the presure building up. So yesterday I resigned myself to putting my business projects on hold for a couple of weeks. Maybe even into January.

I think I have found and decided on a shopping cart for selling Tom's models, but that will mean an hour or two for installing, then loading the 200 models I have ready into the system, and that could take many hours yet.

There were nine items on my December agenda, but by post-poning about six of them I will now throw myself into getting the letters and my own designed little cards ready for mailing.

I'm assuming you have a lot of extras happening this month, or needing to be done by Christmas, so I wish you the wisdom and grace to know what you can put off and what must really have top priority and GET DONE! Then I pray that you'll have time to really sit back and think about our Saviour and delight in Him.

As I said last week in the Tips & Solutions - I highly recommend listening to https://bbnradio.org online. They are playing nothing but Christmas carols and hymns for the whole month. I find that the air in my house is full of CHRISTMAS even though the only decoration I have up is this pointsetta that was given to me. (Only it has some leaves and petals drying up and falling off).

Oh yes, and just yesterday I started inviting a few for a Christmas feast with me on Christmas Day. I will keep the number low, so that we don't break any COVID limitations. I trust we "singles" will enjoy some family pleasures together.
