If you prayed for me after my request week before last, I want to thank you heartily! My main concern was the problems with installing the shopping cart software so I can sell Tom's diecast models from that website.
Last week Monday night I discovered that there was a brand new version of OpenCart software, # 4.0.0.0 was available for download. I checked first to see if anyone was reporting problems with it or if it really was better than the previous versions. It seemed to be okay, so I downloaded it and then started uploading the required files via ftp. But there were so many of them that I had to leave the computer open all night and let the uploading continue as long as necessary.
It was done in the morning. But I had so many other things going on that I couldn't even do those last few steps for an installation to be complete. I did that last night, and glory be to God! It is a much improved system, and though I had take time to learn how to increase the PHP on my site, and even find out how to install new extensions for - that all worked out okay, and suddenly, there I was in the new system! I explored it and started filling in details in the settings, and aside from stopping to hunt for tutorial videos for this version, I had no problems. I got the categories set up for the models. Or most of them. I think there will be another one or two.
The fact that I got my large garden seeded and got help to do so, is anothre answer to prayer.
I could go on and point out a number of little things that seem to have sorted out and become more managable.
Also, I read last night, about a Bible teacher explaining that when we pray for blessings we need to make sure we have our receiving cup with the open side turned up. (He had set out two, one cup turned upside down and sprayed water; then asked why one cup was filled with blessings and the other was not. Well, Duh!? One cup was not ready to receive any blessings!
I'm going to make sure my cup is always turned with the open side up - expectantly!
