A Flurry of Activities

I'm all set and ready to leave in abour 40 minutes for my second vaccine shot. I'm not sure I can finish this RoseBouquet by then, but if not, I'll just finish it up when I get home again.

I do have a couple of other errands to run if I can get them in. One of them is to dash over to my brother Tom's lawyer's office to exchange some documents with his assistant. Since they shut down their office for the lunch hour, I may not get in until after 1 pm.

I also want to check out about getting a very much needed gift for a friend in a care home. Hopefully that will go well, as that friend has a birthday in July and I'd like to get it for her by then.

I'll leave some space... to report when I get back.

2:37 pm and whew, quite a busy few hours. Lots of water under the bridge. Or, a flurry of Activities!

I got my Pfizzer shot without a problem.

Then I bought the gift for the friend... which took a while.

I came home and I phoned the lawyer's office and the woman told me to phone her when I got to the door and she would meet me there. However, my cell phone was deader than a door-nail! I tried over and over again, and it would not open up for me. So I pressed the buzzer and the receptionist came down the elevator to let me in. I had just a few minutes with the lady I was to talk with, got the documents, and was on my way home.

I was just warming up some of the borscht I had made yesterday for my lunch when the phone rang. It was my favourite Aunt. She had some news to share so I let her talk while I ate my borscht, and now I'm here reporting to you.

But I can feel myself winding down from all that I had going on since 11:30. My head is listing heavily to one side.

I'm just promising myself a nap as soon as I finish and post this RoseBouquet.
