Test Your IQ on POD

Time for a lighter tone here. If you are at interested in writing books or publishing them, you
may have heard or read about Print-on-Demand, or POD. Let's have a POD Quiz or two and see if you've
caught on. For example, what is POD?
Answer:It stands for Print-on-Demand, a new publishing phenomenon, that is catching on fast and
changing and improving (mostly) every month or two.
Cost savings could be said to be an advantage, except that there are always those who jump on the
bandwagon and try to make money off the ignorant.
Match the currently correct POD research statements with the lettered sentence completions
(Answers at end of article).

I should point out that I checked into 15-30 POD publishers before I settled on BookLocker.com and I
keep discovering things that confirm it was the best choice. They offer the highest royalty in the
whole industry, 35%. Nor do not lock an author into the contract. If you find a better deal, or if
you want to publish elsewhere at the same time, you are free to do so.
One of the best ways to get to know and trust the people at BookLocker is to subscribe for free to
the weekly ezine, Writers Weekly. There's always great tips for writers, places to submit your
freelance work, and warnings of deadbeat publishers/editors who don't pay their writers.
