Spring is definitely early this year. It is still possible to find some old patches of snow and ice, but to a large degree it has disappeared.  Even my garden is nearly all exposed. Temperatures are above 0 Celsius most days, dropping below at night again. But those of us who are older and wiser are waiting for the other shoe to drop;  there's bound to be another snow fall or storm yet before we really have spring. It's always been that way, right?

We all know that children love to have someone read stories to them, both long before they can read themselves and also after they are able to do so. I confess to being an adult that likes to listen to a good reader reading a good book. That's why every day, Monday through Friday, I like to listen to Lynn Brooks reading a Christian classic. She does this on http://bbnradio.org for 15 minutes every morning, and that reading is repeated again in the evening. (Which is great for when I miss one day).	.. . . MORE
