What has been your experience either postive or negative, in a mentoring relationship? You may share from the perspective of the younger woman wanting to learn from a mature and godly woman, or from the view of the woman who was trying to help out a younger woman.

Although I have no intention of sharing the details of your story with others, you can be fairly sure I am going to respond to you, and your story - especially if many come with a similiar theme. That will influence me as to what resources I make available here on this site.


For instance, if a growing number are about dreams of writing, I am going to provide more to help you, and if there is a sudden surge of stories about abuse and loneliness, then with the Lord's help I'll try to help in that vein.


No need for ALL details

You really don't owe me ALL the confidential details of your story either. I know how easy it is for me to get lost in explaining things when I'm given a chance to talk. - Guess we all need for someone to really hear and believe us, don't we? (Like I have buckets of emotions put aside about the years when I cared for my mother. There's no way I can condense all of that yet; but I should try, right?)


The Best Confidante

Well, I'm an easy listener. But I've got flaws, and I make mistakes, though I hope mostly unintentionally. So I want to tell you; I've found the best Confidante, one who never seems to tire of me needing to share my thoughts, is the Lord Jesus. I recommend Him to you. Pray often, even all the time, in your thoughts, and tell Him absolutely anything and everything. He listens super well! Your heart is Perfectly secure with Him!
