It is becoming a tradition in Hague, to designate a weekend in spring for garage sales. All who wish may set one up, and will benefit from the increased traffic as people gather - even from out of town - to trawl through all the sales on the same days. This year someone advertised April 20-21 as our Garage Sale weekend.

I felt I was almost too busy for this, but I did need to unload some stuff and especially my plants. I knew I had well over 70 pots or containers full of plants, and I will only have room for maybe a dozen when I move. So I prepared a table at the garage doorway, and also carried out enough plants to offer some choices. I could always carry out more.

Blooming aloe vera - never seen them bloom before? About once a year, one of my plants blooms like this. Not always the same one either.
